Friday, 13th March 2009 (1581 views) Houston Lake Mining has revealed that it has begun Phase III drilling at its Dubenski gold property located near Kenora, Ontario.According to the firm, the Dubenski shaft zone has been extended to a strike length of more than 215m and 62 samples have been shipped for gold fire assay analysis. The 20-hole, 2,000m diamond drill programme was begun on the wholly-owned property. E Grayme Anthony, Houston Lake Mining president and chief executive, said: "Given our exceptional results to date it will be necessary to update the resource calculation and we expect to do so following the Phase III programme." The Dubenski property is one of eight contiguous properties which comprise Houston Lake Mining's West Cedartree gold project. Based in Sudbury, Ontario, Houston Lake Mining is an advanced gold exploration company with a strategic focus on its West Cedartree gold project and developing a range of other owned and optioned properties.
