High River Gold has released an operations update on its four gold mines.

The Toronto-based firm stated that a problem with vibration on the mill drive-train at its Taparko property has been addressed during the scheduled mill shutdown earlier this month.

January gold production at Taparko is predicted to total around 5,100 ounces, while gold production at High River Gold's Berezitovy mine is expected to reach 5,900 ounces.

The company is continuing to carry out remedial work at the Berezitovy mine in order to improve grind at the mill, update the underground workings and boost performance at the disc filter plant.

Located at Buryatzoloto, the Zun-Holba and Irokinda underground gold mines have not reported any material challenges or shortcomings to their operations.

Unhedged gold business High River has a portfolio of mines, properties under development and advanced exploration projects in Burkina Faso and Russia, with two new open-pit gold mines currently being brought into production.
