GBS Gold International has announced that its shares have commenced trading on the NEX board of the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) Venture Exchange.

The company, based in Perth, Australia, is now trading under the symbol GBS.H.

GBS Gold has an estimated 2.7 million ounces of indicated resources and 1.7 million ounces of inferred resources within a 125km radius of its 2.5 million tonnes per annum Union Reefs processing plant, including the Cosmo Deeps project.

Located in the Northern Territory of Australia, the Union Reefs operations centre currently comprises three near producing mines, two development projects, a project at feasibility study stage, the Union Reefs processing plant and more that 3,500 sq km of prospective tenements.

Drilling results for a programme at the Iron Blow and Mount Bonnie polymetallic massive sulphide deposits to the east of Gold’s Brocks Creek underground gold mine were published in April this year demonstrating assayed true widths of up to 18m.

GBS also has gold exploration properties in Western Australia and Canada and a growing resource base in known deposits.
