Tuesday, 2nd September 2008 (1544 views) Chinese-style gold dishware has been displayed in Tokyo ahead of its sale, it has been reported.The 24-c gold set includes bowls, cups, plates and chopsticks and will go on the market on September 3rd, said China View. It was released by Ginza Tanaka and consists of 13 pieces. A price of 100 million Japanese yen (£50 million) has been set on the collection which was shown off in Ginza, an area in the capital of Japan. The district got its name from a coin mint that was situated there from the year 1612 to the 1800 according to the Japan Guide website. It has some of the most expensive real estate in the country, as one square metre of land in the centre is worth more than ten million yen, claimed the site. Numerous boutiques, restaurants, cafes and galleries are now a feature of the upmarket area, it also noted.
