Edible gold leaf is one of the products on offer from a new website that aims to provide food fans with everything they need to create the perfect dishes, according to reports.

Easier Lifestyle states that squires-shop.com from Squires Kitchen includes the gold leaf among its "hard to find" products that can help to make "food look fabulous".

It also aims to cater for to everyone from domestic food fans looking to throw a small dinner party to professional chefs handling a large banquet.

A total of over 4,000 products are listed on the site, each with its own picture and description to aid customers' browsing. There is also a UK-based client support feature, which the company says offers one-on-one advice from food experts.

Squires Kitchen was founded in 1984 as part of the Squires Group, which also includes cake decoration manufacturer Squires Kitchen Sugarcraft and cookery book firm B Dutton Publishing.
