Opwica exploration discovers high-grade goldWednesday, 5th March 2008 (2317 views) Gold grades of up to 15 g/t gold over one metre have been returned from the last ten assay results received from Opawica Explorations' drilling programme at the Dingman property in Ontario, Canada, the company has confirmed.The results are part of a 19-hole drilling programme at the site, which is located around two hours' drive from Toronto. Other returns from the last ten holes include values of 15 g/t gold over 0.83 metres, 10.42 g/t gold over one metre and 9.14 g/t gold over one metre. In addition, there were intersections of 106 metres of 0.63 g/t gold, 101 metres of 0.69 g/t gold and 92 metres of 0.81 g/t gold. Opawica's latest round of drilling built on previous exploration work at the site and expanded the definition of Dingman's mineralised zone to approximately 375 metres in length by 80 metres in width to a maximum depth of 275 metres. The zone remains open to strike and at depth, the company added. Dingman is one of three properties Opawica is currently developing in the province of Ontario. The others include the Atikwa Lake in the west and the Matachewan group of exploration properties in the east.
