Kylie celebrates Brit win with gold flake cocktail

Friday, 22nd February 2008 (3651 views)

Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue reportedly celebrated her victorious night at the Brit awards with an exclusive cocktail containing edible gold flakes.

Ms Minogue enjoyed the £35,000 Flawless cocktail at a post-Brits bash at Movida in London, the Daily Mail reported.

The drink mixes Louis XII cognac, half a bottle of Cristal Rose champagne, bitters, brown sugar and chips of 24ct gold leaf. It is completed with an 11ct diamond ring in the bottom of the glass.

According to the paper, two security guards are assigned to the drink from its initial mixing to delivery.

Earlier in the night, Kylie had picked up the award for Best International Female Solo Artist and taken to the stage to perform.

Her music career began in 1988 and since then, 12 albums of her work have entered the UK top ten.

The Brit awards, which recognise the best in British and international music, started in 1977.
