Dubai jeweller to sell gold coin

Thursday, 6th December 2007 (2202 views)

The Visions of Dubai coin, launched earlier this month as the city's first souvenir gold coin, is to be sold at five outlets of the Liali Jewellery chain.

Gold coins can be purchased in a number of different presentation formats, including in a pack of four or in individual sizes ranging from 0.1 ounces to one ounce.

The coin, which is the first in a planned series, is made of 22-carat gold.

Liali Jewellery's managing director, Anuraag Sinha, said the chance to sell the coin will allow customers "selection and world-class quality" and explained that the coins will be met with high demand from both local residents and tourists looking for souvenirs to take home.

He added: "These coins will add the right touch for any luxury occasion and its quality and finish will even please the most discriminating buyer."

The collectible gold coin is also distributed by Jumeirah Retail and Dubai Duty Free.
