Monday, 12th November 2007 (3134 views) A coin collection, which includes more than 30 gold dollars, are set to be auctioned off in Houston, Texas later this month, according to Numismatic News.The gold dollars belonged to the late Pearl E Pemberton. One of the coins is a rare 1855 Type 2 gold dollar, which is said to be in "superb gem condition". "Our year-end events continue to be very successful, with buyers and sellers seeking the last major auctions before the new year," Heritage Auction Galleries president Greg Rohan told the news source. Along with the collection of gold dollars, the auction will contain a variety of coins from the United States and around the world, as well as medals and tokens. The sale is to be carried out by Heritage Auction Galleries on November 29th and 30th and will be held in partnership with the Money Show of the Southwest, which will feature more than 4,000 lots of coins.
