J-Pacific releases final assay results for Elizabeth gold propertyWednesday, 17th October 2007 (1531 views) Following the most recent assay results from the Elizabeth south-west gold vein on J-Pacific Gold's Elizabeth gold property, an exploration team is currently working to refine future drilling targets, according to a senior geologist at the company.A 1,725-metre core drilling programme, which has recently wrapped up at the site, intersected high-grade gold mineralisation and has identified both horizontal and vertical extensions to previously estimated gold intersections, according to John Harrop, J-Pacific Gold's senior geologist at the Elizabeth property. "This year's success was built on the careful work of previous seasons," he said, adding that 12 of the 14 holes drilled in the 2007 programme reached their intended targets. "The exploration team is now comparing these result with the structural data on Elizabeth to further refine future targets," he added. J-Pacific Gold has eight projects currently underway in the Canadian provinces of Quebec and British Columbia, as well as in the American states of Nevada and California.
