Exploration update released for Peruvian gold propertyFriday, 12th October 2007 (1509 views) An exploration operation at the Vilcoro gold property in Peru has been updated to include additional results from soil and rock sampling on the site.Geneva Resources, along with St Elias Mines, has reported the identification of three new gold-bearing zones in the project's Main Trend. The new gold zones were confirmed through the evaluation of gold-in-soil anomalies, which has also consolidated areas of mineralisation in the Main Trend that were previously classified as separate zones. Additional reconnaissance results have identified two more areas of gold mineralisation outside of the Main Trend, which Geneva Resources has classified as target areas for follow-up drilling. Based in Reno, Nevada, the company was established in 2006 to acquire options to claims in "established mineralised regions", including the Vilcoro property in Peru and the San Juan prospect in Panama. Geneva Resources also has claims in gold projects located in Canada and Nigeria and has expressed an intention to evaluate further joint-venture gold prospects around the globe.
