Thieves have stolen four gold discs belonging to Welsh singing sensation
Charlotte Church.

The awards were taken from a Cardiff hotel owned by her family during a robbery on Sunday night.

However, a fifth disc was left at the scene as police believe the burglars were disturbed during their actions.

Police are now set to ask Miss Church to describe the gold discs to help them in
their investigation.

Acting detective inspector Dorian Lloyd said: "These items have sentimental value for obvious reasons and are pretty unique."
