Results of gold enrichments at Courville announcedThe news feeds on this site are independently provided by Adfero Limited © and do not represent the views or opinions of the World Gold Council. Thursday, 6th October 2005 (6505 views) Perschimco Resources has recently revealed the results of a 14,000 short tons bulk sampling program.Taking place at the Courville property in Quebec last year, the program examined the top five metres of bedrock in particular areas and recovered 786 ounces of gold. The best results came from zone one where 7,299 sample size short tons were found along with 576 ounces of extracted gold, with a calculated gold grade of 2.71 g/t Au. The zone was nearly twice as abundant as the other two areas, something that officials attributed to a 'nugget' effect of the mineralisation that had come from unequal gold grain distribution. Daniel Lapointe, a consulting geologist, supervised the 2004 venture.
