AfriOre to raise more capital

Tuesday, 23rd August 2005 (2576 views)

AfriOre continues its drive for gold and platinum within Africa and aims to plough the capital raised from a business deal into its Akanani and other projects.

The Akanini property is a platinum project in the Limpopo area of South Africa although it also encompasses the mineralized Platreef where gold has been found.

AfriOre's principle properties are gold related such as the South African FSC and Dwaalboom and Kenyan Ndori and Siaya properties.

Recently its Banankoro gold project in Mali has undergone drilling and surveys that discovered 7.36 g/t to 27.37 g/t of gold over a width of between 0.8 and 9.25 metres.

The expected success of the company's private placement, which has an estimated high of C$4.5 million, should provide enough capital to further develop its gold interests.
