Acadian Gold continues its explorationThursday, 18th August 2005 (2567 views) Acadian Gold is currently drilling for diamonds and gold at Beaver Dam in Nova Scotia, Canada.Acadian Gold's new strategy includes open pit mining, something not carried out on the property before, making drilling necessary to find gold deposits suited to this mining method. There is a gold mineralization zone within the Beaver Dam property and the company has been testing the strike extension. It has also located low grade gold in the argillite rocks that surround the gold mineralised quartz veins. Acadian Gold was founded in 2003 and is one of the largest gold producers in Novia Scotia. It was the first Canadian company to use the geological ribbon model to find gold. Beaver Dam will probably be the site for a central processing plant which will service the surrounding mines in Forest Hill, Goldenville and Tangier. © Adfero Ltd
