India International Gold Convention set for AugustMonday, 15th August 2005 (2684 views) The second India International Gold Convention 2005 (IIGC) will take place on August 24th and 25th at The Taj Lands End, Mumbai.During the convention, the Hindi version of the Gold Survey will be launched and attendants can expect to learn from each other's international experiences. The convention will focus on innovations within the gold market including gold as an investment product, liberalisation in the Indian bullion markets, and integration of the Indian gold market with international markets. Trends in gold refining and recycling and trends in testing and hallmarking will also be discussed. India is the world's biggest gold consumer, importing most of its gold but fashioning its own jewellery, which it is increasingly exporting to other countries. © Adfero Ltd
