Emagold expansion to benefit gold retailersMonday, 11th July 2005 (2918 views) Emagold UK has expanded its membership with the arrival of three new companies.International Bullion (IBB), bullion dealer Metalor and Yorkshire wristwear specialist, Crown Design have joined the ten-member group in a move which is likely to benefit gold retailers. The group already includes some of the UK's largest and longest established jewellery producers and seeks to promote the sale of 18ct gold and above. "Our new members are three very different businesses united by their desire to promote the quality gold message," commented the chairman of Emagold UK, Allyson Thomas. "We are delighted to welcome them within the Emagold umbrella and feel sure that their participation will help raise awareness not simply of the organisation itself but also of the advantages to retailers of trading up to 18ct gold." Both Metalor and Crown will have displays on Emagold Pavilion's stand at this year's International Jewellery London, while IBB will exhibit on its own stand adjacent to the rest of the group. Emagold Pavilion's stand at the event, which runs from September 4th to 7th, has the reputation of being a 'one-stop-shop' for buyers seeking quality jewellery at the fair. Ms Thomas added that the addition of the new companies will help in the slowing consumer market. "We strongly believe that when faced with tricky trading conditions quality counts and restocking with products from trusted suppliers that you know sell well, can really help to keep sales moving," she concluded.
