Capital Gold reveals progress at El ChanateWednesday, 8th June 2005 (2497 views) Capital Gold today announced that the El Chanate open pit gold project in Sonora, Mexico is coming significantly closer to production.The company revealed that it had executed the first of several major equipment purchases at El Chanate, as well as purchasing an additional mining concession. According to Capital Gold's chairman, Gifford Dieterle, the two seven-foot Symons HD Short Head cone crushers will undertake the final stage of the crushing process at El Chanate. "Capital Gold personnel and outside experts are investigating several units currently made available to us and we anticipate further purchases later this month," Mr Dieterle stated. El Charro, which lies within the current boundaries of El Chanate, represents an area of widespread gold mineralisation. "The purchase of the crushing unit is a significant step that brings us closer towards our ultimate goal of gold production at El Chanate. This, together with our purchase of the El Charro mining concession and the progress of a widespread gold mineralization that it brings, encourages us greatly," Mr. Dieterle said.
