Capital Hill eyes up new gold projectFriday, 3rd June 2005 (2558 views) Capital Hill Gold has reported that it is currently assessing a potential high-grade bulk-tonnage gold deposit located in Mineral County, Nevada. The project was originally staked by a major gold mining company in the 1990s but has never been drilled. The deposit is the same area as various operating and past-producing gold mines, including the Paradise Peak, Santa Fe and Rawhide deposits. Based on initial evaluations of the project, the geologists investigating the property for Capital Hill believes that the target would be a high-grade bulk-tonnage gold deposit. Geologists have collected samples from mineralized areas of the property and these will be assayed by American Assay Labs in Elko. The company has said that the decision to acquire the project will be made based on these results.
