Friday, 3rd June 2005 (4230 views) NuStar Mining has announced that is has poured the first metal at its wholly-owned Paulsens underground mine. <br/><br/>The Australia-based explorer achieved production after a construction program which was completed on budget within a year. <br/><br/>In a statement NuStar said: "Plant performance is exceeding expectations, with stable operation at nameplate throughput already achieved." <br/><br/>Paulsens is expected to produce 80,000oz of gold annually over five years. <br/><br/>NuStar added that it was exploring for additional resources at its other tenement holdings in the region.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8658334"/>
