Pacific Ridge Exploration has announced that drilling is set to begin at its Whistler Gold property in Nevada.

According to the company a drill has now been mobilised at the site in the Cortez Gold Trend and drilling will begin immediately.

Pacific Ridge plans to conduct an eight-hole programme within the next two weeks.

The area is known as one of the best regions in North America for the discovery of large gold deposits and so positive findings are expected from the drill programme.

Pacific Ridge is a mine-finding company focused on advanced-stage gold projects.
