Gallery Gold has reported its drilling in Tanzania has produced even more positive results.

The company now feels that a significant increase will be made to the current resources at the Busolwa gold prospect of 279,000 ounces, according to Minebox.

Both infill and delineation drilling was used in areas that were thought to have possible open pit potential.

Results identified a western extension of known resources helping to support the case for a major open pit operation.

Drilling will now focus on near-surface deposits ready for the project feasibility study.

Discoveries also suggest that its second gold operation Buckreef-Rwamagaza will provide positive results, which it hopes to develop next year.
