Tuesday, 17th May 2005 (3909 views) Marifil Mines has revealed it has found significant gold assay results from trenching at its Paquita gold property.<br/><br/>Recent trenching work has taken place along the Carolina vein on the firm's wholly owned property in the Chubut Province in Argentina.<br/><br/>A total of 600 metres have been explored by trenching along with five diamond drill holes.<br/><br/>However drill assays are still pending.<br/><br/>Figures from the six trenches have revealed varying gold values ranging from 0.02 g/t to 21.86 g/t.<br/><br/>The areas within the vein are also of varying thickness from one to four metres.<br/><br/>It is thought 25 holes will be drilled as part of the campaign at Paquita for around 1,300 metres, hoped to be complete by May 30th.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8523307"/>
