Strong results from Paquita trenching

Tuesday, 17th May 2005 (2637 views)

Marifil Mines has revealed it has found significant gold assay results from trenching at its Paquita gold property.

Recent trenching work has taken place along the Carolina vein on the firm's wholly owned property in the Chubut Province in Argentina.

A total of 600 metres have been explored by trenching along with five diamond drill holes.

However drill assays are still pending.

Figures from the six trenches have revealed varying gold values ranging from 0.02 g/t to 21.86 g/t.

The areas within the vein are also of varying thickness from one to four metres.

It is thought 25 holes will be drilled as part of the campaign at Paquita for around 1,300 metres, hoped to be complete by May 30th.track
