Wednesday, 4th May 2005 (4089 views) Gold Canyon has discovered new gold mineralisation at its Springpole Lake project in Ontario, Canada.<br/><br/>The miner has revealed bonanza grade gold was unearthed during recent drilling and analysis of four holes showed one hole with 20.3 feet of gold mineralisation and an average 0.161 ounces of gold per tonne.<br/><br/>Half the holes were drilled at the site's south-west target area whilst the other half were drilled in the east extension zone.<br/><br/>In addition a large new potential zone was also discovered, with upcoming drill results expected to identify high-grade gold mineralisation.<br/><br/>Gold Canyon is a Canadian mining company interested in the acquisition and exploration of mineral and precious metal properties.<br/><br/>The firm currently owns the Springpole gold project and the Cordero Gallium project in Nevada, USA.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8425281"/>
