Wednesday, 13th April 2005 (4253 views) US miner Albidon has discovered gold mineralisation at its Nefza project in northwest Tunisia.<br/><br/>The area at Kef El Agueb covers around 4,160 sq km and patterns of hydrothermal alteration suggest that the region is prospective for gold deposits.<br/><br/>Results found several zones of anomalous gold values and gold mineralisation was never before known in this area.<br/><br/>Follow up rock sampling and geological mappings will now ascertain further values and work is already underway.<br/><br/>Albidon is based in Illinois and was set up in April 2000, looking to acquire mineral exploration and development projects in Africa.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8261972"/>
