Tuesday, 12th April 2005 (4133 views) Glamis Gold has reported an 84 per cent rise in its gold production.<br/><br/>Latest first quarter results were revealed today by the Nevada-based miner, which attributed growth to output from its new El Sauzal mine in Mexico.<br/><br/>According to the company, 93,700 ounces of gold were produced during the period, compared to 50,900 ounces last year.<br/><br/>In addition, positive progress on the Marigold mine expansion in Nevada helped boost results.<br/><br/>Glamis has also reported another solid quarter at its San Martin mine in Honduras.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8256352"/>
