Monday, 4th April 2005 (4149 views) Tyhee Development has begun underground work and diamond drilling at its Yellowknife gold project again.<br/><br/>The Canadian company is set to start this year's work from the middle of this month and operations are typically conducted throughout the year at the site.<br/><br/>Recently the project saw staff numbers increased to offer better exploration at the site.<br/><br/>The underground mining will see the first level extended by another 75 metres and deeper access to the mineralised zones identified so far will be created.<br/><br/>In addition, diamond drilling will begin in the Ormsby zone, looking to further define existing gold zones and also identify new prospective areas.<br/><br/>It is hoped Tyhee will be able to complete a prefeasability study in the second half of 2005 following the latest work.<br/><br/>Tyhee is a gold exploration and development company, with its Yellowknife project set to hold resources of 1,049,000 ounces of measured and indicated gold grading and inferred gold grading.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8193499"/>
