Goldstar plans trial gold miningTuesday, 15th March 2005 (2605 views) Goldstar Resources has unveiled plans to begin trial mining next year at its Walhalla gold project in Victoria.Mining would take place from May to June in 2006 and the company hopes full-scale mining could begin sometime in 2007. The plans follow the discovery and extension of the Lomond Reef project and a quantification of the project's exploration potential. According to the company, the move would bring Goldstar to a growing list of Australian junior gold explorers moving into mining companies. Goldstar will continue channel sampling and testing other reefs on the project ahead of the trial and it needs to obtain permits, raise funding and conduct feasibility studies.
