Tuesday, 8th February 2005 (3717 views) Anatolia Minerals has revealed latest drilling results at its Copler Gold project in Turkey.<br/><br/>First hole cuts showed 69 metre oxides at 3.9 grams per tonne in two zones and 38 metres of 6.1 grams of gold per tonne.<br/><br/>A 25,000-metre drilling programme began at the site in the middle of January this year, using diamond and reverse circulation drills.<br/><br/>Richard C. Moores, president of Anatolia, stated: "We are very pleased by the surprisingly good results of the first hole in this series.<br/><br/>"This area was not included in our recent oxide resource update and has positive implications for increasing and upgrading the current Manganese Mine resource."<br/><br/>The drilling hopes to increase the current four million ounce resource and drilling is expected to continue into mid 2005.<br/><br/>Anatolia has been working in minerals exploration in Turkey since 1996 and in January last year the firm obtained a 100 per cent interest in the Copler site.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7756184"/>
