Falkland Gold & Minerals has announced it could begin exploratory drilling by February 25th.<br/><br/>The company has exclusive rights to explore for gold in the Falkland Islands.<br/><br/>Falkland sold 25 million shares in December to help raise £10 million for gold exploration work in the South Atlantic islands.<br/><br/>The firm, based in London, is also looking to complete a laboratory for rock evaluation samples by March.<br/><br/>According to the firm the on-site project manager has successfully established the relevant infrastructure needed to support exploration activities and a support drill team has been set up.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7747849"/>
