Romarco signs US mine agreementWednesday, 2nd February 2005 (2444 views) Romarco Minerals has entered into an option agreement with Toquima Minerals to start mining at the Pine Grove District of Lyon County in Nevada.Around 138 unpatented mining claims make up the site over an area of around 2,760 acres. The site has estimated historic production of around 18,000 to 35,000 ounces of gold. Diane Garrett, president and CEO of Romarco, commented: "We are pleased to add this project to our unique portfolio of assets exhibiting exceptional discovery potential for high grade bonanza vein systems." Bob Thomas, president and CEO of Toquima added: "We are pleased to have Romarco as a partner on the Pine Grove project. Romarco has knowledge and experience in bonanza epithermal vein systems, and we look forward to the commencement of the exploration program." Romarco, which will be the operator of the project throughout, is a junior exploration company looking to acquire precious metal assets mainly in north and south America.
