Tuesday, 1st February 2005 (4061 views) Tinka Resources, a Canadian mining firm, has announced that exploration has begun again at its site in Luminaria in Peru.<br/><br/>The mineralised gold zone in the Huaraz mining district has produced positive results in the past, something that encouraged Tinka to explore the site further.<br/><br/>Field crews have now been remobilised to the site, which is 3,500 hectares in size and grid soil sampling is set to continue.<br/><br/>Later on, stream sediment sampling will occur as well as systematic excavation and additional pit sampling.<br/><br/>Work at the site originally stopped as sampling did not produce enough positive or encouraging results.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7701383"/>
