Fieldex Exploration has announced that first phase drilling is now complete at its joint venture Temiscamingue project.

The venture with Aurora Platinum Corp covers more than 36,000 hectares in Quebec.

In June last year a magnetic survey was completed over the area and data from it was used for target areas for drilling.

Following this field investigation work took place from June to November and identified four new gold showings.

Initial sampling has returned gold values of 59.8 grams, 42.7 grams, 18.35 grams and 16.05 grams.

Fieldex is a mineral resource and exploration company and also has a gold site at its Noranda North property.
