Klondike sampling uncovers gold mineralisation

Thursday, 9th December 2004 (2540 views)

Klondike Star Mineral mining company has announced that sampling at its Green Gulch site has uncovered gold.

In total 8.32g/t gold was returned from a white quartz vein boulder, which was placed in an area of mineralisation previously reported by another operator.

The property is located 15 kilometres southeast of the Lone Star mine.

Klondike started exploration programmes in 2004 with prospecting and geochemical surveys, following previous claims from other companies about the site.

Further work is planned in 2005, including geophysical surveys, trenching and soil geochemistry.

Klondike is currently developing five mineralised zones in an area of land around the Klondike Gold Rush.
