Friday, 3rd December 2004 (3771 views) Canadian miner Fronteer has revealed that its shares have risen following the announcement that it has found gold on its Turkish property.<br/><br/>After revealing that precious metal was detected at its Kirazli property in western Turkey, shares in the firm increased by 11 per cent, according to CBC News.<br/><br/>The junior miner claims that it has found "significant oxide gold mineralisation" on the property through drilling.<br/><br/>Further drilling for minerals is set to continue throughout 2005, according to the firm.<br/><br/>Fronteer is focused on gold exploration in western Turkey and Canada.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7224667"/>
