Drilling has now begun at the Beowawe gold project in Nevada, Atna Resources and Prospector Consolidated have revealed today.

As part of the drilling, six to ten holes will be made to test for gold mineralisation.

The Beowawe site is based in over 4,600 acres of land in an area that is already being actively explored by a number of other mining companies.

Beowawe is a venture agreement between Atna and Prospector and will see Prospector run as operator and Atna will manage and execute the programme.

There will be three main stages that drilling will undertake.
