Tuesday, 16th November 2004 (3916 views) An Irish firm has announced plans to begin selling platinum, silver and gold bullion.<BR/><BR/>Gold Investments claims to be the first company in Ireland to commence such an offering and is targeting investors across the world.<BR/><BR/>Reports on RWE say the Dublin firm will offer silver, gold and platinum coins and bars domestically and abroad.<BR/><BR/>Former Goldman Sachs banker Stephen Flood and financial analyst Mark O'Byrne head up the new company.<BR/><BR/>The duo say they are aiming to "educate first-time investors about precious metals" as well as keep existing investors well informed.<BR/><BR/>The market for precious metal investment, and particularly platinum, has proved profitable in recent years as prices have steadily risen.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7079213"/>
