Gammon Lake completes feasability study at Ocampo

Thursday, 11th November 2004 (2437 views)

Gammon Lake Resources has announced the completion of its bankable feasability study today on its wholly owned Ocampo Gold-Silver project in Mexico.

The firm has now completed phase one development and hopes to begin mine production in the first quarter of 2006.

An open-pit and underground mining operation took place in the first phase and was based on detailed mine planning.

Studies have revealed proven and probable mineral reserves in the area, with defined reserves identified for the first seven years of the mine life.

It is hoped that production output from the first year of mining should reach more than 300,000 ounces gold-equivalent.

Gammon Lake is a Nova Scotia based mineral exploration company with properties in Mexico.
