Thursday, 11th November 2004 (3701 views) Campbell Resources reports metal resources increase in third quarter results.<BR/><BR/>The mining firm revealed that definition drilling at its Copper Rand site has helped to generate a considerable increase in its gold and copper content.<BR/><BR/>In addition, the company has sold its Bachelor Lake property for $2,300,000 and completed definition drilling at the Corner Bay site.<BR/><BR/>Metal sales for the quarter included 9,631 ounces of gold for $5.4 million and revenues for the first nine months of 2004 reached $16.2 million.<BR/><BR/>The company also managed to lower mining expenses during the period and around $766,000 was spent on expenses for surface exploration programmes.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7037537"/>
