Campbell ups gold resourcesThursday, 11th November 2004 (2464 views) Campbell Resources reports metal resources increase in third quarter results.The mining firm revealed that definition drilling at its Copper Rand site has helped to generate a considerable increase in its gold and copper content. In addition, the company has sold its Bachelor Lake property for $2,300,000 and completed definition drilling at the Corner Bay site. Metal sales for the quarter included 9,631 ounces of gold for $5.4 million and revenues for the first nine months of 2004 reached $16.2 million. The company also managed to lower mining expenses during the period and around $766,000 was spent on expenses for surface exploration programmes.
