Following the announcement of a proposed gold exchange in Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed has met with the founders of the exchange.<BR/><BR/>A meeting was held to discuss the scheduled launch and included key members that will be involved in the new venture.<BR/><BR/>According to AME Info, the Sheikh discussed a number of important issues relating to the gold sector and the exchange.<BR/><BR/>Items discussed included the structure of the proposed electronic trading platform, approval of implementation plans and a review of the new exchange.<BR/><BR/>It is hoped the exchange will begin operating in 2005.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7036389"/>
