Gold Canyon Resources has released an update on its work at the Springpole Gold project.<BR/><BR/>The mining firm has now completed its Summer 2004 drilling programme, which covered over 8600 feet and also included rock chip sampling, geophysical surveys and local detailed magnetic surveys.<BR/><BR/>Gold Canyon covers acquisition and exploration of mineral and precious metals properties.<BR/><BR/>Currently, the company owns and operates the Springpole Gold Project in the Red Lake Mining District in Ontario and also has a project in Nevada.<BR/><BR/>Drilling work saw additional holes discovered and existing areas deepened and extended and data is currently being interpreted.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=7027762"/>
