Gold Canyon Resources has released an update on its work at the Springpole Gold project.

The mining firm has now completed its Summer 2004 drilling programme, which covered over 8600 feet and also included rock chip sampling, geophysical surveys and local detailed magnetic surveys.

Gold Canyon covers acquisition and exploration of mineral and precious metals properties.

Currently, the company owns and operates the Springpole Gold Project in the Red Lake Mining District in Ontario and also has a project in Nevada.

Drilling work saw additional holes discovered and existing areas deepened and extended and data is currently being interpreted.
