Odyssey Resources has announced that it is to begin drilling at its exploration project in western Turkey again.

Tavsan is located 60 kilometres northeast of the Eldorado Gold Kisladag gold deposit and was studied in September for its gold prospects.

It is hoped that the site can be advanced through development to offer shareholders the best possible value.

There are a number of gold deposits identified at the site, with large areas tending to contain lower grade gold, whilst the smaller deposits have revealed higher values.

Odyssey aims at identifying and developing gold mines in ancient world areas such as Egypt, Morocco and Yemen.
