Full Metal Minerals and Garnet Point Resources have released an update on summer exploration work at the Mac and Cache properties.

The main aim of the exploration was to increase geological understanding of the projects prior to drilling next year and also to ascertain new mineral occurrences.

Mac and Cache are two gold prospects located within the Ennadai-Rankin Greenstone Belt in the Kaminak-Quartzite Lake area.

Three new areas were identified through the work and a host of various gold values were discovered.

At present Full Metal has interests in gold and copper-gold properties in Alaska and Nunavut, whilst Garnet Point is expanding its focus to include gold and base metal exploration.
