Ivanhoe and Entree sign exploration agreementTuesday, 19th October 2004 (2544 views) Ivanhoe Mines has revealed it has signed an agreement with Entree Gold to explore a new gold project in Mongolia.The deal will include the potential development of approximately 40,000 hectares of land in the Shivee Tolgoi Project and will see Ivanhoe acquire 4.6 million of Entr e Gold units. Ivanhoe's deputy chairman, Edward Flood, explained the agreement has a number of conditions in order for the company to have a participating interest in the project. The company has operations in the Asia Pacific region and produces gold, copper and iron ore products.
