StrataGold has announced that it has started a new drill programme on its Tassawini Project, located in Guyana, South America.<BR/><BR/>The 40 hole, 3000 metre drill scheme will see drilling completed on targets located outside of the zone too, in order to identify any new opportunities.<BR/><BR/>According to the firm, the gold exploration property is where the Tassawini Gold Mine was located and in the past produced around 11,200 ounces of gold over seven years.<BR/><BR/>Over the years $10 million has been spent on exploring the site and results have shown clear gold mineralisation.<BR/><BR/>StrataGold focuses on gold deposits and has projects in north Canada and South America.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3557718"/>
