GFMS has announced the release of the latest edition of its new series of in-depth mining reports.

Gold Mining in Brazil was produced by GFMS and local industry experts and outlines historic and future levels of mine production.

In addition the report describes the top domestic and international gold producing and exploration companies, current tax laws and licensing procedures.

According to the report, gold production is recovering at present, but Brazil's potential is overlooked.

However a new set of investments have been introduced in the country through gold projects by AngloGold Ashanti, CRVD and Rio Tinto Brazil.
