Virginia Gold Mines has announced it is to start drilling on its Eleonore project site following a recent discovery of high-grade mineralisation in one of its zones.

An excavator, drill and bulldozer will be used in the Roberto Zone and various other targets of interest.

A considerable amount of work has already been conducted at the site, with positive results and a substantial gold resource is already being formed.

It is hoped future drilling will help to considerably increase the gold resource even further.

Virginia is one of the most active mining exploration firms in Quebec and concentrates on sites all across unexplored regions in northern Quebec.
