Australian miner discovers more gold at drilling site

Friday, 10th September 2004 (2814 views)

Croesus Mining has revealed that drilling at its Norseman project in Western Australia has found additional high grade gold.

The third biggest locally-owned gold miner in Australia announced that four out of seven holes contained "abundant" visible gold.

Managing director Mike Ivey said that the potential for further growth in ore reserves is promising.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the drilling also found a new zone of gold mineralisation next to the St Patricks area.
