Gold City receives approval for mill and tailings developmentThursday, 9th September 2004 (2741 views) Canada's Gold City Industries has announced it has received a permit to build a 200 tonne per day mill and tailings facility.The sites are part of its Greenwood Gold Project in British Columbia and approval is still subject to detailed design approvals. If the permit does go ahead it will help the company create the first new metal mine in the area since 1996. Fred Sveinson, president said: "Our project team has received full co-operation from the departments of the provincial government involved in the approval process and we also appreciate the support given by the Boundary Mining Association and the local communities." The Greenwood Project is one of the company's assets that it has agreed to sell to Jantri Resources and it is currently discussing a merger with San Gold resources.
