Friday, 2nd July 2004 (4092 views) Russia's Highland Gold Mining enterprises has revealed it is to get a 20-year license to develop fields in Talatui and Novo-Shirokinskoe in the Chita region.<BR/><BR/>Under the licenses the company will be able to develop the gold deposit at Talatui and the gold and complex ore deposit in Novo-Shirokinskoe, according to Gateway to Russia.<BR/><BR/>According to the mining firm its two enterprises Darasunsky Rudnik and Novoshirokinsky Rudnik will be issued the licenses by Russia's Natural Resource Ministry.<BR/><BR/>Reportedly Talatui has 37.5 tonnes of gold reserves and Novo-Shirokinskoe has 31.1 tonnes in operating reserves, with geological reserves of 55.9 tonnes.<BR/><BR/>A feasibility study of the field is due for completion in November this year.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=2946327"/>
