Russia's Highland Gold Mining enterprises has revealed it is to get a 20-year license to develop fields in Talatui and Novo-Shirokinskoe in the Chita region.

Under the licenses the company will be able to develop the gold deposit at Talatui and the gold and complex ore deposit in Novo-Shirokinskoe, according to Gateway to Russia.

According to the mining firm its two enterprises Darasunsky Rudnik and Novoshirokinsky Rudnik will be issued the licenses by Russia's Natural Resource Ministry.

Reportedly Talatui has 37.5 tonnes of gold reserves and Novo-Shirokinskoe has 31.1 tonnes in operating reserves, with geological reserves of 55.9 tonnes.

A feasibility study of the field is due for completion in November this year.
